bonus hint to save people from trying many many letter combinations at the end to figure it out like I did: (spoilers obviously)
just go down the letters in order! it should spell either "he loved me" or "gods took him", in the end.

Incredibly stuck, but so intrigued - definitely going to spend a few hours here trying to figure out the right combinations, even with the hint, lol.

Love the concept of this one. Had some trouble finding the right phrases, even after seeing the hint, but the formatting and style are way cool.
