Wow. Who knew people were so extreme about vocab... and who knew I was so bad at it... In all seriousness, this game was so creepy. It was such a slow burn too, where you aren't sure what might come next, and that it made the atmosphere even more terrifying.
For some reason my audio didn't work and the text was a different font for the first like three attempts,(?) but that just made it even creepier when it kicked in my last go around. It was like a whole new and even better experience. It just goes to show that you really know how to make an audio based horror game scary even without the audio itself. That requires real talent to do. I highly recommend this game. If anyone is wondering if they should play, the answer is without a doubt.
OMG, this game had me on the edge of my seat because at first when i didn't see him in the window anymore i thought that the person i had been texting was the guy standing and it terrified me but then i got the good ending, i got all the endings btw, that was just something i had to say because it was so well made, as i am a game critic i rate this a 10/10. good job at making me scared to look outside my window!
Not sure why people are getting the bad ending. All I did was constantly check the window and also reply truthfully. I got 29 out of 30 and still got good ending
Because of this game, I will now dedicate a few hours to the dictionary lol. I literally was stumped. Good game, I got bad endings twice though lol >.<
Fun game. Curious as to what triggers the different endings. Is it the different difficulties, or whether or not you call the mom or the friend, or how well you do on the vocab? Or how often you look outside? Or is it just in a preset order, or even randomized? Also I noticed the third time that the friend was talking about seeing the man *again*; was that only on the third runthrough it was the second different too? (I assumed it would be the same so I didn't pay attention to the text). Played normal the first time with 28/30, called the friend, pretty much never looked outside unless it was forced, good end. Second round I did easy, got 30/30, called mom, looked outside a lot, good end (barely). Third time I did hard, got 15/30 (also, is the last question a forced incorrect answer or is something just wrong with the mouse tracking on my laptop?), might have looked outside once?, no option to call mom or the friend, bad end. Also is the "how did you see him outside" just about the window being cracked? My two biggest gripes with the game are how slow the text is, with no way to manually progress it, and that at the initial "I should look out the window first," instead of just clicking on the magnifying glass you have to click on an extra menu that opens up from it. It's already pretty clear from the onscreen prompts what you're supposed to click on so it just adds an extra step.
1. i think it depends mostly on how you do at the vocab, because i tested it doing well and looking, and doing well without looking, and never got a bad ending. tried mom and friend.
2. i think the forced answer is forced, not your laptop, i had it happen but idr if it was every time
