Neat game mechanic of searching the picture, but I don't get the disturbing story, and murders. The natural environment is full of death and corpses.

After clicking "examine photograph", the photograph pops up and then I can't do anything else? I keep clicking things but nothing happens. Is that intentional, or is there supposed to be more to the game?
Parts of the photograph can be clicked on to reveal text -- try moving your mouse slowly over the right side of the image.
